7. OBS Studio

OBS Studio is a free multistreaming tool that is mostly used for encoding. The fact that OBS
Studio is free and accessible distinguishes it. It demands some technical knowledge, but it is an

excellent alternative for broadcasters looking to explore and gain experience without making a
large investment (“Open Broadcaster Software | OBS,” 2012).

This programme enables RTMP broadcasting, switching between various sources, capture cards,

cameras, chroma-key/green screens, and application windows in addition to simulcasting.

This open-source programme lacks native plugin functionality, however community users have
created a large range of plugins for more sophisticated capabilities.
