Prospective clients should be surveyed. What are their ages? Where do they call home? What is
their annual salary?
Determine industry trends. Examine similar items on the market to observe how other firms sell
themselves, and figure out what makes you unique.
Examine your competitors. How do your main competitors sell online? What are they doing that
works and what isn't?
Create buyer personas. Collect data and perform surveys to get a more complete picture of your
target buyer. This will assist you in concentrating on certain client categories inside your target
market.
4. E-COMMERCE PLATFORM RESEARCH:
Before you start developing your online marketplace, think about what sort of e - commerce
platform you'd like to sell on, whether it's your personal online store, Amazon, eBay, Facebook,
or another online marketplace.
Fortunately, there are a number of SaaS ecommerce systems on the market that enable
retailers to sell things online for a fixed monthly charge, independent of technical competence.
Alternatively, if you have coding knowledge, you can follow the open-source way and develop an
internet business from the ground up.
